Welcome to our Toddler Room

We are thrilled to welcome you and your little one to our toddler program! At Milestones, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating environment to learn and grow in, and we are committed to providing just that.

Our experienced teachers are dedicated to creating a safe and engaging space where your child can explore, play, and learn. Your toddler will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

We understand that leaving your child in the care of others can be an emotional experience, but we want you to know that we are here to support both you and your child. We encourage open communication and welcome any questions or concerns that you may have.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s care and education. We look forward to getting to know your family and watching your little one thrive in our program.

Best regards,
Milestones

Toddler Curriculum Outline

First and foremost, it’s important to keep in mind that toddlers learn best through play and exploration. With that in mind, here are some general areas of focus that we include in our curriculum:

Language development
Encourage our toddlers to communicate through reading books, singing songs, and having conversations with them. We will also introduce them to new words and phrases through interactive games and activities.

Fine motor skills
Activities such as coloring, painting, and playing with Play-Doh will help develop fine motor skills.

Gross motor skills
Activities such as running, jumping, and climbing will help develop gross motor skills.

Social skills
We encourage our toddlers to interact with others in our different classroom interest areas, group activities, and games that require cooperation and sharing.

Cognitive concepts
Introducing our toddlers to basic concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through interactive games and activities.

Sensory play
Sensory play can help our toddlers develop their senses and learn about the world around them. Activities such as water play, sand play, and playing with textures are great for this area of learning.

We recognize that every child is different and has their own pace of development. As such, we know that it’s important to be flexible and adjust our curriculum as needed to meet the needs of your child.
